✪ Juventus Stadium

Also known as: Allianz Stadium

The Juventus Stadium is the home ground of Juventus Football Club, opened in 2011 and erected on the site of the former Stadio delle Alpi. The stadium is one of the largest and most important sporting venues in Italy, and it has been regarded as one of the most innovative arenas in the world when it was opened. The stadium is surrounded by various structures related to Juventus, including the J-Museum. This is a museum on the history of the team and the most visited sports museum in Italy. The collection of the museum hosts numerous memorabilia and all the trophies won by Juventus, the most decorated football club in Italy.

Piazza d’Armi

Piazza d’Armi is a large park located just south of the neighborhood of Crocetta in the center of Turin. Once used for military purposes, the area became a sporting hub in the early 20th century, hosting various sports venues. Piazza d’Armi now hosts the historic Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, which was originally built in the 1930s and was later reworked various times. Now it serves as the home ground of football club Torino. Adjacent to the stadium is the Palasport Olimpico (or Pala Alpitour), the largest indoor sporting arena in Italy, inaugurated just before the 2006 Winter Olympics, which were held in Turin. The park also hosts various other smaller sporting venues.

Museo del Carcere Le Nuove

Museo del Carcere Le Nuove is a museum located in the former Le Nuove prison in Turin. The prison was built in the 19th century and it was closed in 1986. The museum displays the history of the prison, with a focus on World War II, when it housed political opponents, partisans and Jews.

Parco Dora

Parco Dora is a park located along the Dora Riparia river in northwestern Turin. The area was originally occupied by an industrial complex that was demolished and redeveloped since the 1990s. The park now features various intersting pieces of industrial archaeology. A museum dedicated to the environment called Museo A come Ambiente is located just outside the park.

Museum of Fantasy and Science Fiction

The Museum of Fantasy and Science Fiction (Museo del Fantastico e della Fantascienza) is the first museum entirely dedicated to fantasy and science fiction in Italy. The collection of the museum features thousands of memorabilia related to the two genres, including books, posters, magazines, and objects from all over the world.
