Il fiume Sarca prosegue verso sud raggiungendo il Lago di Garda. Questa parte del Trentino situata attorno alla punta settentrionale del Lago di Garda si chiama Alto Garda. La fortezza fu probabilmente costruita intorno all'undicesimo secolo e all'epoca era uno dei castelli pi\u00f9 importanti della zona. Abbandonato da tempo, alcuni ambienti sono stati restaurati, riportando alla luce antichi affreschi. A nord si divide in varie valli laterali, in particolare la Val Genova. La Val Rendena \u00e8 una meta ambita dai turisti, grazie alle splendide montagne e ai numerosi comprensori sciistici. Il piccolo paese ospita una grande quantit\u00e0 di impianti di risalita e piste da sci, ed \u00e8 stato teatro di numerose manifestazioni sportive invernali.
